Many producers faced difficult times last year because of the attack of the small red spider who damaged a lot of our hovers on the tree. This small nasty colleague is encouraged by the hot temperatures, by the climate change that causes each year higher temperatures. Even the our desert athlete, Digest Nour, is suffering from this heat.
Some producers were tempted to use an acaricide and were now found in the testing campaign by the control bodies.
Our farmers hold word and did not use anything than sulphur powder to hold back the red spider. We are happy to inform you that Benighreb dattes are free from pesticide residues. Thanks to our great farmers and the continuous work of our farm management team!
